PD Dr. med. Florian Bihl 

The PD Dr. med. Florian Bihl, born in 1969, graduated in medicine from the University of Bologna in 1998.
Between 2003 and 2006 a scholarship from the Swiss National Research Fund allowed him to become a researcher at the Massachussetts General Hospital in Boston, while from 2006 to 2009, returning to Switzerland, he carried out training in gastroenterology and hepatology at the ‘University Hospital of Geneva (HUG). Training that continued at the Center Hopitalier Universitaires Vaudoise (CHUV) in Lausanne, with the achievement of the title of FMH specialist in gastroenterology in 2010, the year in which he arrived in Ticino as Head of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Regional Hospital of Bellinzona and Valli .
He is currently active in his private practice, located in via Gemmo 11 in Lugano, as a gastroenterologist and hepatologist, he is a consultant doctor of gastroenterology at the EOC and at the Luganese Moncucco Clinic, he is a Privat Docent at the University of Geneva and a medical consultant for the gastroenterology and hepatology of the HUG in Geneva.
